"I actually decided not to go to university and endeavoured into business straight from the Academy. I'm now currently positioned as the account director of a million pound business."

The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy definitely set me up for whatever I path I chose. If I wanted to go to university I was very, very clued up on the more practical side of business. I could easily have stepped into a business degree and, having had a lot of experience prior to that, been able to relate all the theoretical classroom studies to real-world experience.

To me that was really important because I didn’t want to walk away with a degree and be one of many that have just walked away with a degree: I wanted to be one of few that walked away and had experience and a degree, and that was the most important thing.

It just so happened that I actually decided not to go to university and endeavoured into business straight from the Academy. I’m now currently positioned as the account director of a million pound business and I can actually say that a lot of that was influenced by my experience with the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and the people that I met along the way.

The most important thing that I found was that it was my mindset and my ambition to absorb knowledge that actually led me to take away masses and masses of greatness from what the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy offers.”

During his time with the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at Sheffield College, Nathan bought limited edition product from China and sold it in the UK market as part of his studies. Shortly after working on a project with a local software company, 3Squared, he was inspired to launch his own enterprise – focusing on social media training for businesses.

After graduating, Nathan continued to develop his business before being headhunted by Felicitas Media, where he now works as account director.
