As a charity, the Peter Jones Foundation relies on support from partners and businesses in order to achieve our mission of providing young people with a brighter future.
The Foundation is proud to work with a diverse range of partners, from businesses, large and small, to educational providers across the country. Organisations work with us in a way that suits them and their objectives, from working directly with one of our Enterprise Academies with in-kind support or a work placement, to committing to a longer term relationship through our Cornerstone Partnership opportunity.
Partnership with the Foundation is designed to be mutually beneficial. So while our partners contribute significantly to our enterprise vision, they can benefit from a supply of young, innovative and enthusiastic students, whilst contributing to their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals and employee development.
In 2012 we launched our Corporate Patron programme where businesses can invest in the Foundation to support the campaigns that we run across the country to raise awareness and help us drive forward our mission.
The Foundation is always looking for opportunities to develop new products and have been fortunate to work with a range of high profile national bodies that provide support through funding and advice over the years.
Financial support is always welcome, but there are other ways that you can help. We are always grateful for volunteers to help us in any number of ways; whether you are an individual or corporate supporter we appreciate any contribution you can make to help the Peter Jones Foundation to raise funds, raise their profile or to raise the aspirations of the next generation.
The Enterprise Academy particular relies on in-kind support from businesses, both large and small, to provide the real life business elements of our course. For example:
- Speaking to our students through masterclasses, workshops, business surgeries or at national events,
- Employing enterprise apprentices,
- Providing work placements,
- Acting as employer representatives in the research area of our work to develop new qualifications.
