The Foundation has been a long-held goal of mine for many years, and I am glad to finally get it off the ground.

The Peter Jones Foundation aims to provide effective support to children in many different stages and circumstances of their lives. Whether it be supporting Forgotten Children in the UK, who for whatever reason have been unable to gain support from other charitable organisations or whether it is about nurturing and providing a life enhancing experience, enabling young people to have the start in life that they deserve. We firmly believe that everyone deserves a brighter future. The Foundation has been a long-held goal of mine for many years, and I am glad finally to get it off the ground.

For their very special help in the initial days of the venture, I want to thank contacts and friends as well as the employees who work in the businesses that I either own or invest in. It's been great to see people within my company rally to volunteer to support Forgotten Children, and this was be a great boost as we set a very challenging target of fund raising in our first few years.

I would also like to single out London Wasps rugby team, and in particular the club's former prop Will Green. Wasps have been a very enthusiastic supporter of Forgotten Children, and this was capped when Will chose the charity as one of the beneficiaries of his benefit year in 2005.

I would also like to thank all of the Enterprise Organisations in the UK who have been instrumental in helping me to realise my dream of launching a National Enterprise Academy to educate young people in the UK, and encourage a confident 'can do' attitude amongst them.

Let's keep working together to give young people a brighter future,

Thank You
