Tycoon Extended Project Qualification

The Tycoon EPQ Programme combines the competition element and the EPQ artefact pathway, enabling students to participate in a national competition and develop an artefact along the way.

Students aged 16-18 will write a business plan, apply for a goodwill loan to purchase the raw materials to make their artefact, and turn this into multiple products or services to sell, as part of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The programme also incorporates the Design Thinking methodology, enabling students to enhance their problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

This programme is ideal for students who are passionate about a cause or problem or have an interest which they would like to explore on a deeper level.
