MEET OUR YOUTH PANEL
FREDDIE HILL
Youth Panel Chair
Freddie is Creative Producer and Founder at Graded Films, a video production company. He made his debut at 16 years old with a film that was later offered distribution to Amazon Prime Video.
With several start-ups underway and a large-scale regional production studio facility in the pipeline, Freddie is committed to creative practice and inspiring young storytellers by sharing his passion for the screen. All with a mission to inspire others to follow suit in doing what they love.
JOANA BAPTISTA
Joana is a multi-award winning social entrepreneur, public speaker, activist and founder of She., an organisation that reverses taught prejudice by re- writing classic fairy tales.
HARRY DAYMOND
Harry Daymond is a highly accomplished young entrepreneur who established his first start-up at the age of 15. He has received numerous awards, including the Young Start-Up Talent award, and has been recognised in the TransferWise 20 Under 20 and Ernst & Young Founders 30 lists.
He is a seasoned speaker and has shared his experiences and insights at conferences throughout Europe, as well as serving as a judge for various entrepreneurship competitions. His current venture, The Cocktail Connoisseurs, aims to disrupt the cocktail industry and bring the cocktail experience to everyone at home.
ALAN TORRES
Alan is a photographer running his own event photography business. He's photographed icons such as Liam Gallagher and Tinie Tempah and shoot at amazing venues like Emirates Stadium. Alan also founded Calle 18, a social enterprise celebrating the achievements of care leavers.
YASMINE ABDU
Yasmine is an innovator and climate-tech entrepreneur. She is the founder of CarbonTrac, a venture empowering grocery shoppers to make sustainable choices and get rewarded for it. She's on a mission to cut UK emissions by 5% by 2050.
A London Mayor’s Entrepreneurship Award winner and a United Nations International Telecommunication Union Fellow, Yasmine has been recognised globally as a United Nations SDG Digital Gamechanger Finalist, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Ambassador, and World Internet Conference Global Youth Leader in AI for Good. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation through evidence-based neuroscience and dynamic speaking engagements.
EMMA BERWICK
Emma is a recent graduate working in a secondary school in Norfolk. For last two years, she has served as a panellist on The Uni Guide Podcast, sharing her experience and advice. Passionate about education, Emma is the deputy chair of the UCAS Student Advisory group as well as being a mentor with Zero Gravity, supporting sixth form students with their university application and transition to university.
ARIANA DESAI
Ariana received the prestigious AAA award recognising my commitment to excellence and leadership within the community. Additionally, she has volunteered with Islamic Relief for the last nine years, contributing to community projects that support vulnerable populations. Ariana raised funds by partnering with charities such as Womentum CIC which strives to build a fairer world where the voices of the less advantaged are heard.
LUCA RIZZI
Luca is a Business Economics student at Cardiff University with a passion for entrepreneurship. He successfully launched an Amazon FBA business, generating £20,000 in revenue within its first year. These experiences equipped him with valuable skills in communication, digital marketing, and financial modelling.
Beyond academics, Luca is training for his first marathon to support a charitable cause and continuously looks to enhance his professional expertise through courses like Python programming and investment banking simulations.
