The Peter Jones Foundation board is legally accountable for the work of the Foundation. The board of trustees and executive directors set the Foundation’s strategy and have the authority to make decisions on the business plan, budget and policies.
STELLA ATHERSTONE
TRUSTEE
Stella Atherstone was previously COO of the Peter Jones Foundation. Stella has a varied career having owned a restaurant and haberdashery whilst also working in commercial banking and the leisure industry in South Africa. In the UK, she has worked in the Third Sector for over 17 years, predominantly in charities.
RALPH TABBERER
TRUSTEE
Ralph Tabberer joined the Board of Trustees of the Peter Jones Foundation in 2011. Ralph is currently the Owner and Chief Executive of BBD Education. He is highly regarded as a leading light in terms of education globally and is passionate about helping young people achieve their dreams by using education as the foundation to unlock potential.
AMI PATTERSON-HIGGINS

Ami Patterson-Higgins joined the Board of Trustees of The Peter Jones Foundation in 2023. Ami is Senior Legal Counsel to Peter Jones CBE’s group of companies, supporting Peter’s global portfolio of businesses, including Peter’s Dragons Den investments and providing legal support and advice to The Peter Jones Foundation.
