The Peter Jones Foundation’s AnnualGolf Fundraiser Raises £150K
The Peter Jones Foundation is delighted to announce the success of its annual Charity Golf fundraiser, held on Thursday 3rd September, at the prestigious Foxhills Golf Club and Resort. The event raised £150K that will support the charity’s work in developing essential skills for successful employment or self-employment in young people.
Hosted by Peter Jones CBE and supported by American Golf, this year’s event saw an impressive turnout of business leaders, entrepreneurs, celebrities and influencers. Among the distinguished guests were John Terry, former Chelsea, England and Aston Villa Football Captain; Denise van Outen, popular television presenter; Mark Wright, TV and radio presenter and Mike Tindall, Former England rugby captain and 2003 World Cup winner. Their presence and support were greatly appreciated.
Following the morning session of golf, guests were treated to a three-course lunch, where they heard from Jordan Singh, a Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA) alumnus from Leicester College, who has gone on to find success as an entrepreneur and founder of “Your Brand Solution”. Jordan shared his inspiring business journey, speaking about the transformative power of entrepreneurship education and the Foundation's commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people — particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
